Terms of sale

These terms apply to refurbmonitor+ (Plus) subscriptions bought on refurbmonitor.com. Plus bought in the iOS app is sold by Apple under the App Store terms; Apple handles its payments and refunds.
Who we are
refurbmonitor is an independent service published by Jérôme Neuvéglise, Switzerland. It is not affiliated with Apple. Contact: privacy@refurbmonitor.com or the contact form.
Who sells you the subscription
Payments on the website go through Link, by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record: Link sells you the subscription, charges you, collects the applicable taxes, sends your receipts and handles payment support. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. Link's own terms apply to the payment.
What Plus includes
Plus unlocks the features marked Plus on the site and in the app — for example alerts across several countries or device categories, and advanced filters. We may improve or adjust them, but we won't remove the core of what you paid for during a period you have already paid.
Price and taxes
Prices in US dollars exclude taxes: the VAT, GST or sales tax due where you live is added at checkout. Prices in euros and Swiss francs include taxes. The checkout page always shows the final amount before you pay.
Duration and renewal
Plus is a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. A price change only applies from your next renewal, and you are told before it does.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the "My alerts" page or on link.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: Plus stays active until then, and that period is not refunded, except as described below.
Right of withdrawal (EU and UK)
If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason.
When you subscribe, you ask for Plus to start immediately. If you withdraw within the 14 days, you are refunded what you paid minus an amount proportional to the time Plus was active until you told us, and Plus ends.
To withdraw, send a clear statement through the contact form, to privacy@refurbmonitor.com or to Link support (support.link.com) — for example: "I withdraw from my refurbmonitor+ subscription taken on [date]. Account email: [email]." Link refunds your original payment method within 14 days.
Swiss law provides no right of withdrawal for online purchases.
Refunds and payment disputes
As the seller, Link may also grant a refund under its own purchase terms and support policy. A full refund or a payment dispute ends Plus immediately.
The service
refurbmonitor reads Apple's public refurbished store and warns you when a product matches your alerts. We do our best for alerts to be fast and accurate, but we can't guarantee that a product is still in stock when you open an alert, nor that Apple's site is always reachable. Apple sells the products, not us.
Account deletion
Deleting your account immediately cancels a Plus subscription bought on the website and ends Plus; the rest of the period already paid is not refunded. If you want to withdraw (see above), do it before deleting your account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email before they apply to you; the version on this page applies from your next renewal.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and can bring a claim before its courts.
